The American newspaper The New York Times reported, citing US officials, that the Trump administration has suspended the issuance of almost all types of tourist visas for holders of Palestinian passports.
The New York Times wrote that the US Department of State has instructed all its embassies to refrain from issuing tourist visas to holders of Palestinian passports.
According to the newspaper, the suspension of tourist visas will prevent many Palestinians from the West Bank and Palestinian migrants from entering the United States.
This action came at a time when Iran-backed terrorist groups made several failed attempts to assassinate US officials within the United States.
