After a deepening diplomatic crisis between Spain and Israel deepened, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced a permanent ban on arms and ammunition sales to Israel as part of a series of measures aimed at “stopping genocide” in Gaza.
In response to the Spanish Prime Minister, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar accused the Spanish government of being “anti-Semitic” and banned the entry of the Spanish Deputy Prime Minister and youth minister to Israel, citing their support for “terrorism and violence against Israelis” as the reason for the move.
