The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Mashhad has announced that, following sustained and precise intelligence operations conducted by the IRGC Intelligence Organisation of Khorasan Razavi Province, and in coordination with the judiciary, eight individuals linked to the Israeli intelligence service Mossad have been identified and arrested.
These individuals, who had received specialised training via online channels from Mossad operatives, reportedly transmitted the coordinates of critical and sensitive facilities, as well as information regarding prominent military figures, to Mossad intelligence officers during recent events referred to as the “12-Day War.”
According to available evidence, the detained operatives were planning and preparing operations targeting both civilian and military officials, as well as the sabotage of key installations in Mashhad. They were apprehended before any operational activity could be carried out. Authorities also seized a quantity of materials intended for the production of launchers, bombs, explosives, improvised explosive devices, weapons, and communications equipment.
