The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that an explosion occurred on a ship off the commercial port of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
The organisation claimed that the vessel belonged to Israel and was carrying electronic equipment destined for Israel when it was attacked by Yemen.
No information is yet available regarding the condition of the ship’s crew.
